Agathi is a leaf that belongs to the Fabaceae and genus Sesbania family of plants. This leaf is scientifically known as Sesbania grandiflora. The leaf is bitter in taste but is nutrient-dense, and has been used traditionally for different medical treatments and for food for a long time.
