Agathi is a  leaf that belongs to the Fabaceae and genus Sesbania family of plants. This leaf is scientifically known as Sesbania grandiflora.  The leaf is bitter in taste but is nutrient-dense, and has been used traditionally for different medical treatments and for food for a long time.

The fruit looks like green beans which grow in tropical conditions. The flowers are either red, yellow, white, or blue in color. The red and white flowers are used as vegetables while the yellow and blue are mostly used for medical purposes.

But all in all, consume agathi leaves to wade off unwarranted sickness.
